Katie Price has walked down the aisle three times and dated some big names — but she says only one man ever really broke her heart.
Katie Price says the great love of her life wasn’t any of her three husbands. Instead, the mum-of-five confessed it was Another Level star Dane Bowers who left her heart in pieces.
Opening up about her turbulent love life, the glamour model revealed that Dane Bowers, now 45, was the only man she ever truly wanted—until he broke her heart. The pair dated between 1998 and 2000, and Katie described their breakup as the hardest she has ever faced.
While speaking about Dane on her reality series Katie Price: My Crazy Life, the OnlyFans star admitted the singer left her “badly heartbroken,” adding, “I’ve been hurt before.”
“I’ve been badly heartbroken—and it was when I split from Dane. He was the only man who completely showed me what true heartbreak feels like. I’ve always said it was Dane who did that to me.
Because of him, I’ve had my guard up ever since. Even with Pete, I’d like to think I let those walls down, but a few still stayed. After Dane, I’ve never allowed anyone to break through completely. Heartbreak hurts—it’s a horrible feeling.”
Katie, who has been married to Peter Andre, Alex Reid, and Kieran Hayler, first crossed paths with Dane at the Wild Wild West premiere in 1999, and sparks flew instantly.

At the time, Dane had risen to fame with his chart hit Out of Your Mind, a collaboration with Victoria Beckham that propelled him into the spotlight, according to the Mirror.
Katie, who was just 18 then, was beginning to make her mark in the late ’90s as a topless model under the name Jordan. Her career quickly skyrocketed, and she soon became a fixture on the front covers of popular lads’ magazines.
However, their romance was reportedly plagued by issues of infidelity and trust. Dane—who later dated Love Island star Laura Anderson—was said to have been drawn to Katie’s glamour model image at first.
Over time, though, her love of the spotlight became a source of tension. In her book The Last Word, Katie’s mum Amy claimed that her daughter was unhappy in the relationship and that Dane grew “jealous of her career.”
Although the pair often appeared blissfully in love, Katie later alleged that Dane had been unfaithful. He has consistently denied the claims. Speaking openly on The Katie Price Show, she said: “He cheated on me bad. Oh my God, so bad.”
Katie claimed Dane had been unfaithful with a dancer in Ibiza, pointing to video evidence of the woman speaking about her. She recalled: “I managed to get hold of the video, and when Dane came home—because we were living together at the time—I told him, ‘Sit down, I’ve got something to show you.’
“I played it and asked, ‘So are you going to explain that, then?’ He denied it, but I knew. Not long after, he started seeing Sarah Bosnich, around the time he recorded the track with Victoria Beckham.”
“Suddenly, I was told I couldn’t go away with them because there ‘wasn’t enough room.’ Then he got together with Sarah Bosnich, who was a friend of Victoria’s. I felt completely betrayed and lied to.”
Despite their bitter split, Katie later reunited with Dane, reconnecting with the singer six years ago during an episode of her reality show My Crazy Life.
Katie stopped by London nightclub Jakarta to support Dane’s new group, Boyz On Block, after being invited by one of his friends. Spotting him inside, she couldn’t resist approaching and, with a playful glint in her eye, called out: “Come here, Dane.”
When Dane told her he was too busy, Katie sighed: “Dane’s too busy for me again. With him, it’s always like another level—I’m just left on the side while he does his own thing.”
Despite that, she hugged him and mused: “Oh Dane, my darling, how are you? You look older now, but your eyes are still exactly the same. Isn’t that strange?”
She went on to reminisce: “You were such a talented singer and dancer—that’s why I fell in love with you. Even when you were bigger back then, you could still dance, and I adored you like that. But you broke my heart.”
The star then addressed one of Dane’s friends, and declared: “I loved him so much. He was the love of my life.”
